QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognise the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
QPR training will provide you with:
• knowledge and skills to identify warning signs that someone may be suicidal
• confidence to talk to them about suicidal thoughts
• connect them with professional care.
This is a free session to the Community, and funded by ClubGRANTS. Lifeline South Coast acknowledges the financial and other support from City Diggers under the ClubGRANTS scheme.
Please note that there is a limit to 5 people from the same workplace/organisation for the same session.
