QPR: Question, Persuade, Refer Virtual Classroom 29/6/2020

June 29 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Lifeline South Coast is proud to be able to deliver this face to face session via Virtual Classroom delivery! This training is able to be provided free of cost due to funding from ClubGRANTS.

This session will incorporate tailored skills for those who work with Indigenous people and also for those who are of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander origin.

Please register for this session and we will email to you a Zoom invitation with instructions.

Please provide your postal address so that we can send out your workbook and resources to you ahead of the session.

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.

Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognise the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
QPR training will provide you with:
• knowledge and skills to identify warning signs that someone may be suicidal
• confidence to talk to them about suicidal thoughts
• connect them with professional care.

This is a free session to the Community, and funded by ClubGRANTS. Lifeline South Coast acknowledges the financial and other support from The Shellharbour Club under the ClubGRANTS scheme.
