The Lifeline South Coast book sorting team are a dedicated, friendly and knowledgeable group of volunteers who manage to sort, clean, research, price, and pack around 200,000 books per year! These books are sold at our Big Book Fair fundraising events as well as the Wollongong and Corrimal Lifeline Shops. There are a range of volunteer roles available in our Book Sorting section located in Unanderra.

All Lifeline South Coast volunteers receive training in policies and procedures.

The Lifeline Shops are the financial cornerstone of Lifeline South Coast. They provide the largest portion of funding and allow the continuation of Lifeline’s vital 24-hour telephone crisis support service in the Illawarra and South Coast. There are Lifeline Shops in Wollongong and Corrimal.
